ISIT 2002 Conference Registration

Welcome to the International Symposium on Information Theory web site for conference registration. The home page of the conference is located at http://isit02.epfl.ch/. You can go there anytime by clicking on the ISIT02 logo in the upper lefthand corner.

Use the sidebar links to navigate through these pages. When you select the Start Registration link you will be asked to supply your contact information. The price list for registration and any extra options is at the bottom of the page.

For registration payment you have many options. They are explained in the Payment Options menu item on the sidebar. An example currency conversion facility is linked in the menu sidebar.

You will receive two emails when you register:

1. an acknowledgment email when you submit your registration request.
2. a confirmation email when your payment has been processed. You are not officially registered until you receive this confirmation email.

Your official receipt will be added to your conference package at the conference.

If you are an IEEE member then you qualify for reduced rates. In this case you must also supply your IEEE membership number when you register.

Students also qualify for reduced rates. Students who are members of IEEE must fill in their IEEE membership number; students who are not members of the IEEE must fax or mail proof of their 2002 student status to us at:

Included in Registration

Besides conference attendance, your registration fees also include the following items:

• welcome cocktail on Sunday evening, June 30
• awards ceremony lunch on Tuesday, July 2
• one ticket for the banquet on Thursday evening, July 4
• one copy of the proceedings
• a voucher for free public transportation within Lausanne during the conference week

Not Included ...

The cost for Wednesday afternoon excursions, for extra tickets for the banquet and for extra copies of the proceedings are not included in the registration price. You may purchase extra banquet tickets or extra proceedings when you register.

Cancellation Policy

• All refund requests must be in writing and received before May 31st, 2002.
• No refunds will be accepted after this date.
• A Chf 100.-- cancellation fee will be deducted from the registration price.
• Substitution of one conference attendee for another will be accepted at any time, but please send us an email informing us of the change.
